Vendor terms of use

Last updated: May 2026

These Vendor Terms of Use apply when you use CONGO CAR VIEW as a vendor or tenant administrator to publish listings, subscribe vehicles for visibility, manage negotiations or orders, or use other seller-side features. Buyers are governed by separate buyer terms.

1. Agreement and scope

These Vendor Terms of Use (“Vendor Terms”) govern your access to seller features on CONGO CAR VIEW, including publishing and editing vehicle listings, purchasing or renewing visibility subscriptions where offered, communicating with buyers, managing negotiations or orders surfaced in your account, uploading media, configuring profile or showroom information tied to vendor accounts, and using payment or proof flows required for subscriptions or storefront ads. By registering as a vendor or tenant-admin seller, ticking acceptance where displayed, using the vendor workspace shell, listing vehicles, completing subscription steps, selling through integrated flows—or by continuing analogous conduct—you agree to the current Vendor Terms. If you disagree, do not operate as a vendor on this marketplace.

2. Your responsibilities as a seller

You are solely responsible for the vehicles you advertise, negotiate, deliver, or sell. Listings must be truthful, materially complete regarding condition, mileage, equipment, lien or encumbrance status known to you, lawful title pathways, recalls you are obliged to disclose, and price and availability aligned with negotiations you accept. You comply with laws that apply where you operate and where your buyers are located—including consumer rules, taxation, customs, sanctions and sanctions screening where relevant, AML/CFT diligence where mandated, licence or dealer obligations, emissions or roadworthiness disclosures, accurate use of catalogue fields (make, model, variant, steering, fuel, body type)—and you cooperate with good-faith marketplace investigations into listing accuracy or payment disputes.

3. Vendor accounts and security

You represent that users operating vendor functions on your tenant are duly authorised unless you disclose otherwise. Keep credentials confidential, use role separation where your organisation requires it, and notify your marketplace administrator promptly of suspected unauthorised access. The operator may suspend access, restrict listings, or withhold promotion tools if misuse, abusive behaviour toward buyers or staff, repeated mis-listing after warnings, circumventing safeguards, falsely attesting payments, discriminatory exclusions contrary to applicable law—or other serious breaches of these Vendor Terms—are found.

4. Platform role and contractual chain

CONGO CAR VIEW generally provides software and introductions between you and buyers. Outside explicit labelled programmes (for example guarantees clearly described as offered by the marketplace), the vehicle sale—including conformity, cancellations, latent defects, lien releases, registrations, and aftermarket disputes—is primarily between buyer and seller to the extent the law allows. Separate offers (homepage placements, carousel ads, visibility subscriptions) are governed by the terms and durations shown when you purchase them; unpaid or expired products may lapse according to those rules.

5. Listings and media

Images, videos and documents must fairly represent the inventory you offer. Do not knowingly upload misleading media, infringing content, deceptive branding implying endorsements CONGO CAR VIEW did not give, discriminatory classifications, unrelated harmful links, or other material likely to mislead buyers or violate law. Automated catalogue or body-type hints help search—they do not replace your obligation to reconcile every field with the actual vehicle.

6. Subscriptions and visibility

Visibility and listing-subscription pricing follows the tariffs and promotions shown on the subscriptions screen when you subscribe. Taxes, PSP fees shown at checkout, and manual proof review timelines are as disclosed when you initiate payment. Refunds follow stated policies or mandatory law. When a placement ends, visibility benefits cease; drafts or listing records may remain in your account for you to manage. Homepage carousel ads follow purchased run lengths (such as working-day windows). A super-admin may deactivate an active carousel item early; display stops but audit data may be retained.

7. Negotiations, orders and payment records

Use negotiation threads and order tools honestly and professionally. Confirming or accepting offers binds you to the conditions shown unless the law provides otherwise. When you record payments (references, proof URLs, gateways), the information must be accurate. False confirmations may result in loss of vendor access and referral to partners or authorities where appropriate.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of marketplace liability toward vendors

Vendor workspace software is provided largely on an as-is and as-available basis, except where wilful misconduct by the marketplace operator is proven. To the extent permitted by law applying to your relationship with the operator, indirect or consequential damages are excluded and aggregate liability arising from these Vendor Terms (other than fraud, deliberate harm, or non-waivable claims) may be capped with reference to optional fees you paid the Platform in the twelve months before the claim, subject to any statutory minimum that overrides such a cap.

9. Changes, languages and support

Vendor Terms may be updated. Important changes may be shown via in-app notices, banners, or email where allowed. English and French aim to convey the same meaning; local mandatory law prevails where it conflicts. For operational questions, contact your marketplace administrator. The authoritative copy is this page at the indicated last-updated date.
